How Bayes Predictive collects, uses, and protects information when sponsors, CROs, and clinical research sites use our platform.
Updated: April 17, 2026
At Bayes Predictive ("Bayes," "we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information in connection with your use of our services, including our website, bayespredictive.com, and related platform workspaces (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service and is subject to those terms. We encourage you to read this policy in full to understand our practices.
Information we collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including:
Information you provide directly
- Account information: when you register for or use our Services, you may be required to provide information such as your name, work email address, company or site affiliation, role, username, and password.
- Platform content: sponsors and CROs may upload protocols, study parameters, and feasibility questionnaires; sites and SMOs may submit capability data, investigator profiles, and responses to feasibility questionnaires. We process this content to operate the Services.
- Billing information: if your organization purchases a paid subscription, we (or our payment processor) collect the billing contact and payment instrument details required to process the transaction.
- Communications: if you contact us directly, we may retain the contents of your messages, attachments, and any additional information you choose to provide.
Information we collect automatically
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and comparable technologies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used.
- Device and connection data: we may collect IP addresses, device identifiers, browser types, operating systems, and approximate location (such as city) to secure the Services and improve performance.
- Usage data: we collect information about how you interact with the Services, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
Information we collect from third parties
- We may supplement the information we collect from you with information from third-party sources — such as public registries of clinical investigators, business data providers, and marketing partners — to verify affiliations and improve matching quality across the network.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including to:
- Operate the Services — route protocols to sites, deliver feasibility questionnaires and responses, generate budget estimates, and notify you of updates.
- Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and troubleshoot issues.
- Send administrative communications about your account, and — where permitted — marketing communications about features, events, and product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each message.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Conduct research and analytics to improve matching, readiness scoring, and overall product quality.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Services, prevent fraud, and safeguard our users.
How we share your information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Between sponsors, CROs, and sites on the network: the Services exist to connect these parties, so information a sponsor or CRO submits about a study may be visible to the sites they select, and information a site submits about its capabilities and responses may be visible to the sponsors and CROs evaluating it. We share only what is necessary for the workflow you initiate.
- Vendors and service providers: we share information with vendors who help operate and maintain the Services (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing). These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may only use information as needed to provide their services to us.
- Legal compliance and protection: we may disclose information if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of our users or the public.
- Corporate transactions: in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction and will continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy or a successor notice.
- With your consent: we may share information with third parties when you direct us to or otherwise provide explicit consent.
Your privacy choices
You have several ways to manage your privacy preferences:
- Cookies and tracking: most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, or alert you when cookies are set. Some features of the Services may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
- Marketing opt-out: you can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing message we send.
- Access and deletion: subject to applicable law, you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to team@bayespredictive.com. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law.
- Do Not Track: our Services do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals at this time.
Security of your information
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect personal information. No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Children's privacy
Our Services are designed for business use by sponsors, CROs, and clinical research sites. They are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Services before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
